Every Saturday during the month of June, The Independence Square Association are sponsoring FREE Independence Living History Rides.
Enjoy a complimentary ride through historic downtown Independence and learn what the town was like in the 1800’s from a first interpreter. This short tour is designed for people of all ages.
Afterwards, we invite you to explore our city’s other historic sites which include:
-1859 Jail Museum & Marshal Home, 217 N. Main Street
-The Vaile Mansion, 1500 N. Liberty Street
-The Bingham-Waggoner Estate, 313 W. Pacific Ave.
-The National Frontier Trails Museum, 416 W. Maple Ave.
-The Missouri Model Railroad Museum, 312 W. Pacific Ave.
-The Chicago Alton Depot, 318 W. Pacific Ave.
