Roger T. Sermon Community Center

Overview

Located at the southeast corner of Truman and Noland Roads, the Roger T. Sermon Community Center is a multi-purpose facility offering a wide range of programs, fitness classes, and event spaces for both small and large groups. Fitness members enjoy access to a weight room, circuit training room, and cardio area designed to support all levels of wellness.

The center is also home to local theater companies, bringing performing arts productions and community performances to the stage — making it a hub for both recreation and the arts in Independence.
