Join us for "Love Where You Live: IndeCleanup", a citywide volunteer effort. The MU Extension Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City are leading volunteer opportunities that positively impact our parks and green spaces. Plus, at each location you’ll learn gardening tips and tricks to help care for your plants at home.
Sunday, September 27: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Truman Memorial Building: Landscape cleanup & pruning.
Lipton Conservation Area: Bush honeysuckle removal & clearing overgrowth.
Santa Fe Lookout: Area cleanup and landscape restoration.
Wednesday, September 30: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
George Owens Nature Park: Plant care, dividing plants, & collecting seeds.
Sunday, October 4: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Waterfall Park: Trimming vegetation & cleaning around the waterfall.
