Red Hot Raku and Chili Night
Select and glaze a piece of bisqueware, then enjoy your chili dinner. Watch as your pottery is loaded into the raku kiln and fired up. In about an hour, your red hot creation will be removed from the kiln and placed in a bin of sawdust to finish the process. After cooling in a trough of water, you can clean your piece to reveal the unpredictable colors, lusters, and patterns.
No Pottery Experience Needed.
$25 Ticket includes: Chili dinner and drinks and one small piece of pottery to glaze and take home at the end of the night.
Additional pieces may be purchased for $10 each. Well supervised children are welcome to attend. Raku pottery is for decorative use only and is not food safe.
