Treasures from the Truman Home at Truman Home Visitor Center

A new exhibit entitled, Treasures from the Truman Home, is now featured at the Harry S Truman National Historic Site Visitors Center, 223 N. Main. Objects that were treasured by the Truman family - both presidential gifts and family keepsakes - are on display.

Highlighted artifacts include Harry Truman's Jackson County judge badge, an inscribed book from auther, Upton Sinclair, Bess Truman's high school diploma and a silver Torah given to the First Lady after President Truman recognized the State of Israel.
